Easily adapted to vegan
1. Build your sandwich on white bread (somehow it just tastes better for this!) – add lettuce, sliced tomato (lightly salted), grated or slice of cheese then Better Naked Ham. Season with black pepper.
2. Next spread some mayo on the other slice and place face down on the sandwich. Butter the top of the bread and then place the butter side down on a griddle pan to obtain the nice lines. Traditional pan is fine too.
3. Allow the bread to toast and watch the cheese start to melt before turning the sandwich over to repeat on the other slice. The ham will start to curl up and become even tastier!
4. Serve the ham toastie warm and enjoy!
Replace the ham with Better Naked Bacon Without the Oink. Use dairy free cheese, butter and mayo.
